So I realized yesterday that I haven't posted since I started my new job on Monday.

Monday was orientation / training pretty much the first half of the day; & then the second half was just doing what we're supposed to do -- validating information & data entry. It's pretty straightforward -- & somewhat boring -- but to be honest, I kind of like it. I guess I'm cut out for a desk job?

TempWise told us (there are 5 temps doing this) that it would be a 6-month position, but on Tuesday we were told that plans have changed due to the economy & it's only going to be till the end of December. BUT. If we excel, there may be a permanent position available for us at the end of the road. So that's neat.

The hours are good -- 9-6 -- & there's a gym in the building that we can use for free... once they set up our access cards for it. I'm hoping to be in there by next Monday.
